Shishu Sarothi Vocational Products Sale

In association with Shishu Sarothi, their Vocational Training Team held a sale of handcrafted paper and printed products made by young adults with developmental disabilities. Items available for direct purchase or custom order.

Organic Spice Powder Production Program

Launched a spice powder production initiative to generate sustainable livelihoods for beneficiaries. Seven varieties of whole spices were processed into powder form, ensuring purity and quality for direct sale.

Assam Flood Relief — Donation Drive

Coordinated a community donation drive for Assam flood relief, channelling contributions to Bharat Sevashram Sangha. Multiple community members came forward generously to support flood-affected families.

Disaster Relief Urgent Appeal

Assam Flood Relief Appeal — Bharat Sevashram Sangha

Amplified the urgent relief appeal for devastating Assam floods. Bharat Sevashram Sangha was providing food, shelter, and care to thousands of flood-affected persons daily — including at their Silchar ashram which was submerged. We mobilised community support and donations for their relief operations.

Vocational Training Special Needs Livelihood

Vocational Training at PASS — Soap, Incense & Spice Program

Undertook a vocational training project in association with PASS (Permanent Home cum Care Centre for Special Children), R.K. Mission Road, Birubari, Guwahati. Beneficiaries were trained to produce handmade organic soap, incense sticks, and pure spices. A significant portion of all proceeds from sales goes directly to the beneficiaries as a permanent, dignified source of income.

Food Security Community

7Day Meals — Foodraising Awareness Drive

Stood alongside Shireen & Shreyan Banerjee in their noble "foodraising" venture — a movement to bridge the hunger gap. Hosted a community conversation to raise awareness about food insecurity and mobilise support for 7 days of free meals for those in need.

COVID Relief Food Drive Guwahati

COVID-19 Food Delivery Drive — Guwahati

Launched an emergency food delivery service for COVID-affected individuals and families in Guwahati during the pandemic. Volunteers and team members mobilised rapidly to ensure meals reached those who could not access food due to lockdowns and illness.

Vocational Training Special Children Organic Products

PASS Vocational Training Program Launch — Organic Soap & Incense

Initiated the first phase of the PASS vocational training partnership, training beneficiaries of the Permanent Home cum Care Centre for Special Children to produce 100% chemical-free handmade organic soap, incense sticks, and pure spices. PASS formally committed to working hand in hand to ensure a prospective and dignified future for their beneficiaries.

SUSWAD Friends handed over flood victims relief materials to Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Guwahati. This was one of our earliest documented community relief activities, bringing together members to respond rapidly to a natural disaster.

Associated with Koshish Foundation, Bangalore under the guidance of Dr. Iffat Faridi to provide school education under RTE (Right to Education) to children of nearby migrant labourers. Committed to walking alongside these children and enabling them to live with love, dignity, and respect.
